My apologies for not submitting as much artwork as usual (and for fanfiction dot net, my fanfics). Having being distracted by other interests along with various events over last year has practically made me a little lazy. There was much to go through, eg. Dealing with Grandfather Norman's passing, preparing for the future with my sister moving out with her fiancée, and perhaps selling some stuff as a result. Well, I'd better explain what's going to happen for this year along with the major events from last year.
After seven years of working at Hungry Jacks Aspley without much changes, it was time for a change of jobs. Growing sick and tired of constantly washing up dishes and cooking artificial patties (with salad ingredients and the rare fry cooking/burger making being a minor reprieve) was enough to bore me to hell - hence since November I've started working at a Ramen Cafe called Taro's! Actually there are two locations - one in the city, and a recently opened one at Ascot (where I'm situated at the moment). At long last along with making the noodles, I finally get to serve the customers, cleaning as required, and dishwashing is much bearable with an automatic machine (even though on busy nights there's a lot to go through)! I also got a secondary job as a grounds-keeper at Wattle Creek Equestrian Centre (even though due to the summer heat I wasn't called as much).
And it's a good reason why since I've currently enrolled in Certificate IV of Patisserie at TAFE in South Bank! You see, after many years, I felt like my life has been going nowhere and I've missed studying since high school despite having Asperger's Syndrome. As a result, I am currently preparing for tomorrow - if I could get the rest of my equipment ready on time due to the timetables and uniform/equipment list being submitted at the last minute! Plus the shops were closed due to the Australia Day long weekend! There's also some stuff I have to get to selling on eBay just to help cover for the future too - and it's about time I get round to them!
Also, I went to Supanova last year! Due to how expensive it was to get autographs these days, I was only about to make a few choices. Mainly to see not only Trina Nishimura from Rebuild of Evangelion, and a lucky meeting with Grant Imahara from Mythbusters (if only I got to meet original Red and Black Power Rangers Austin St. John and Walter Jones), I finally got to meet the legendary Peter Cullen, original and current voice of Optimus Prime from Transformers!
Did I ever mention I got to meet Garry Chalk (Optimus Primal from Beast Wars Transformers and Unicron Trilogy Optimus Prime) a year before too?
And finally, before I head off to bed to prepare for my first day at TAFE, my New Year's Resolutions:
1. DO NOT get into situations that require BRAIN BLEACH (if inadvertent, what's a good real-life cure? The internet can be both one's escape and bane!)
2. Spend less, save more, earn more MONEY!
3. Be more organised (something I haven't been for a while)
4. Go to bed at the right time and get enough sleep (somehow I seem to be feeling to effects)
5. Eat more healthy food and exercise more (very important!)
6. Make very good use of my education (since I haven't studied since roughly +2010)
Well, I'd best be off to bed! Take care all, and hope to submit a new deviation soon when I have time!

It's that time of year again... plus Xmas Wishlist
Another year has passed. Still another round of fun and work, with many a lesson involving food along with the entertainment like some chocolate-related classes, Regional Flavours, Madman Anime Festival, Oz Comic-Con, Supanova and the like.
Of course, life is not without its ups and downs. The first being that my PS4's Disc Drive wasn't working properly. Good thing the warranty's still usable since I was able to trade it for a new PS4. Even though there wasn't any black ones left, a white one works just as well! Then there's the face my mum and I had to upgrade to a new TV... I swear these TVs seem to be getting bigger these days, especially
Return from Holidays and 31st Birthday
Well, thought I might as well fill you guys in on how the holidays went. I had fun in Europe along with China, though due to the European holiday being a tour, we didn't have enough time to explore everywhere. But it was still good - especially with my mother, aunt and cousin too!
First up from Australia, the plane made a momentary stopover at Guangzhou, China. Unfortunately, we weren't allowed to leave the airport so we had no choice but to explore a bit, and sample some fare. Then afterwards we left for overnight, and to avoid the repeat of Ireland back in 2003, I took some sleeping tablets with me. Much better! We then arrived in Paris, F
2017, what's happened and what I want for Xmas...
So much as happened this year so far. Some would be good, but unfortunately at times, a hit to my wallet like paying the electricity bill, and with the passing of some of our favourite people, like Roger Moore, Antonio Carluccio, John Hillerman, Hiromi Tsuru, etc... :'(
First of all, after serving me after many years, my PS3 decided to bite the bullet. After taking it to EB Games to have it fixed, sad to say, it was deemed impossible to be saved. But luckily, since it was close to my birthday at the time, I got an additional 20% trade value to it along with the accompanying games I didn't need - which was affordable enough to graduate to a P
Here's hoping 2017 be glorious... or not...
Well, it's time to update for this year. And what to say months after my last entry? Well, I'll tell you.
Remember my trip to Tasmania? Though we were mainly holidaying for ten days (wish it was longer, loved the food, scenery, history and peace) the last Friday in October was a major point for a reason. I would like to congratulate ~cloudrat (https://www.deviantart.com/cloudrat) for her happy marriage with a new brother-in-law!
Yes, my sister and Chris tied the knot in Tasmania for something unique in a change of scenery! Whilst it was slightly nerve-wracking (due to taking my late father's place to give the bride to the groom), it was wonderful, all in all! The food, the
