Ah, the Grim Reaper. Certainly the last phantasm one would want to see until their timely demise! Especially since Death is often personified in many different forms of religion, folklore, and mythology, other than the English cases. Even though I haven't been on Halloween (considering that where I live I have yet to celebrate it), I felt that I could do with something special for this month, before October 31st evening!
Created by Robin Glynn, the Grim Reaper is of a beginner-intermediate difficulty. To keep it stable, in the second-last step, a small internal reverse-fold was used to make a sort of stand, and to keep the cloak together, I utilised a very small piece of Blu-Tac at the neck. As you can see, the trademark scythe is also incorporated as well.
In the meantime, for the countries celebrating this upcoming event, Happy Halloween!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
