5000th Kiriban Crimson Majesty

It took a while to decide what I wanted for this special. Originally I was thinking of another fold, but that proved quite difficult, so I settled on this fold. Hopefully, it's worth it! At least I was finally able to fit 'Kiriban' in at last in the Deviation Title!

Now for the special - this is deicated to a fellow watcher - ! Designed by the late Adolfo Cerceda, this lovely peacock is not exactly one of the easiest pieces, as it would be in the intermediate level. Also, you have to preferably utilise a large 2:1 rectangle of crisp paper. Furthermore, the paper I used had a slight thickness, so it wasn't easy to perfectly fold sections like the beak. But the paper had a lovely design - crimson flowers on a black background - hence the title. Though it is not a peacock's typical colour, I thought this would give it a look that makes this bird grand!

Overall, as I mentioned before, it is of intermediate difficulty, and if you like birds like the peacock, then this is for you!
