How time flies, and how we age. Hence once again, another birthday special is made!

This signature winged stallion is one of the most well-known figures in Greek Mythology. Depending on his origin, one tale said that he was born from Medusa's neck as Perseus beheaded her. Another says that he was born of the Earth as Medusa's blood spilled onto it, in which case Poseidon would not be his sire. A variation on this story holds that he was born from the mingling of Medusa's blood and the sea foam, thus including Poseidon in his making. His most prominent adventure was when he accompanied the hero Bellerophon in the battle against the Chimera.

Created by one Gabriel Alvarez, this intriguing fold would be of an intermediate difficulty. It may not have been the easiest of folds I've ever done (probably due to the thickness of paper I used), but it is certainly a fold which captures the beauty and stature of this legendary creature!
